Optus offers a wide selection of internet plans with various perks. If you’re looking to sign up to an internet home plan with Optus, you’ll want to consider your internet needs and what is available at your address. Some options currently on the market include:
Many Optus broadband plans feature unlimited data – including 5G home internet. Their 4G broadband plans and home wireless plans do have a max data cap, however, so be sure to consider what your data usage is so you can select a plan that’s right for you.
Optus also offers NBN plans with an assortment of bundled internet plans that offer competitive value. Some of their bundles include home phone or entertainment packages. As always, you’ll need to determine whether your home is eligible to connect to the NBN network if you’re considering this route.
Eligible addresses may have the option to add NBN 240 or NBN 600 speed packs to their plan for an additional fee.
Optus NBN plans are typically month-to-month and include a WiFi modem. Please note, you must stay connected for a dedicated period of time before this modem fee is waived. Please check with the provider to learn more.

Entertainment, call packs, and an array of different technology types (Fibre to the Premises, Fibre to the Node, Fibre to the Building, Fibre to the Curb, & HFC) are some of the benefits that can be had along with unlimited data on NBN plans.
Entertainment: Optus customers can enjoy streaming extras including SubHub, which allows you to bundle entertainment options like Netflix, iWonder, Kindle Unlimited, Amazon Prime Video, and more. Customers can also get an Optus Sport subscription added on to an eligible plan.
4G backup: Optus offers 4G mobile backup as a complimentary service that uses an interim broadband service via the Optus 4G network. According to Optus, this is only available for customers using an Optus Ultra WiFI modem with an Optus SIM on the Optus network.
Rewards/Perks: Optus and Hoyts Cinemas have partnered to offer customers discounted movie deals. Movie tickets can be used for any screening, but there are limitations. Customers can only purchase 4 LUX tickets per day or 10 standard movie tickets. Please visit the provider directly to learn more.
