4G backup: All Telstra plans include the Telstra Smart Modem 3. In the case of an NBN outage, you’ll be automatically switched over to 4G mobile data with a speed cap of 25Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
Rewards/Perks: Telstra customers can earn reward points that apply to their Telstra Plus account whenever they pay their bill. These points can be redeemed towards discounted technology, streaming services, and more. Certain Telstra broadband plans include access to the Telstra Air program, which gives customers access to free Wi-Fi via hotspot.
Bundle options: For those looking to add a mobile phone to their Telstra plan have the option to do so by signing up to a bundle plan. Customers can manage up to 5 bundle plans on one Telstra account. Telstra NBN customers can also bundle streaming services, pay for TV options on their monthly bill, and even bundle an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X.
Mobile app: The My Telstra App is a mobile app that allows customers to manage their account and perform other features like checking their mobile usage, paying bills, and contacting customer service. Customers can also book in-store appointments and reschedule NBN technician visits. Telstra Plus points can be redeemed for rewards via the app.
Speed Tiers: Telstra offers three base NBN plans (Standard, Standard Plus, & Premium) with the option to add two high-speed plans (Superfast & Ultrafast*).
