Find An NBN Bundle Plan That Works For You

Will comparing NBN plans help save me money?

If you’re unhappy with your current NBN plan or just want to get connected to a new provider, it’s wise to compare the market in order to find an NBN plan that best suits your budget and needs.

Remember, switching from one internet provider to another is usually a simple, straightforward process. In the past, changing your internet plan could take weeks and require several hours of downtime as you would need a technician to manually switch you. Now, most NBN connections can be switched remotely, and in some cases, it’s a same-day process.

It’s important to note this because NBN plans have been trending towards month-to-month contracts, and steering away from long-term contracts. So, if you are unhappy with your current service, just switch! Or, if you want a better rate and speed, switch!

This is where Internet Monster can help. Our panel of internet experts will do the comparison shopping for you and help you find the best NBN option. Our comprehensive service is 100% free to use, and we’re always happy to help answer any questions you might have regarding NBN plans.

What NBN speed is right for me?

One thing that is very important to consider when you compare NBN plans is speed. At present, six NBN speed tiers are available to consumers.

The simplest way to find out the most accurate and impartial advice on some of the best NBN deals and informative recommendations that clearly explain how the NBN speed tiers work is to call Internet Monster and speak to a member of our internet team. They will always offer clear and simple advice about NBN speed tiers and help you find the best deal we have available within our network of partnered providers.

Will I Need Technical Support to Install NBN?

If you’ve never had NBN connected at your address before, you may need a qualified NBN technician to visit your home and physically activate your service. Please call our team at Internet Monster if you’re interested in signing up for an NBN plan, as we handle the process seamlessly and help you get connected to the NBN network. We’re 100% free and here to help.

Is it worth it to bundle?

Choosing to bundle your NBN plan with a home phone or entertainment extras can help you save money and offer convenience. Having your provider set everything up so you don’t have to call multiple companies to add these services can be extremely helpful in terms of saving time.

Some NBN providers will include calls and a VoIP phone charge at no added cost to you, while some will charge you a minimal fee that can range anywhere from $5 and up. In terms of entertainment options, bundling your internet with a streaming device or services such as Kayo or Foxtel offers the benefit of convenience and, once again, only having to go through one provider to get everything set up.

If you want to learn more about bundling and what options are available to you, give us a call at Internet Monster.

What NBN Provider Offers the Best NBN Bundle?

With so many internet providers currently in the market, there is no shortage of options when it comes to bundling. Most NBN providers will offer pay-as-you-go (PAYG) or unlimited calling options, either inclusive within the plan itself or as an optional add-on.

We know how difficult it can be for consumers to compare NBN plans, searching for the best NBN deals and cheapest NBN plans for their household. Especially with the current number of options and NBN deals that are presently being advertised by the top NBN providers out there.

While these NBN plans initially seem like a more obvious choice for some, it is certainly worth taking the time to compare providers and even consider looking at some of the smaller NBN providers who are offering some very competitive NBN bundles. You might be surprised that many of these providers offer extras that cater more to your needs.

If you’re looking to bundle and want to learn more about what options are available in our area, give our internet experts a call today.

What are the different NBN Connection Types?

There are four primary NBN connection types – FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, and FTTB. Each connection type varies based on your location.

Fibre to the Premise (FTTP): FTTP, or Fibre to the Premise, utilises fibre optic cables to connect your home to the NBN network. Normally, a technician must install a utility box outside your home and a connection box inside.

Fibre to the Node (FTTN): FTTN, or Fibre to the Node, requires a technician to install a box or cabinet. Fibre optic cables are then run from the cabinet to connect with the NBN network to allow your household to get an NBN signal.

Fibre to the Curb (FTTC): This type of connection utilises an existing copper network to relay a connection from a Distribution Point Unit (DPU) to your home. The DPU is often found inside the telecommunication pits in your neighborhood.

Fibre to the Building (FTTB): An FTTB, or Fibre to the Building, connection is generally found in larger buildings like apartment complexes. A fibre optic cable is installed within the building and connects to existing cables so each unit has access to the NBN network.
